The US has spent over $990 Billion Dollars on the ‘war’ with Iraq. This is enough to wipe out world poverty for 10 years.

Haha by this logic poverty would basically be eradicated in the United States each year anew! We spend $900 billion every year on federal means-tested benefit programs, including $700 billion in federal money and $200 billion in state obligations and contributions to those same programs. You people really have no idea what your government is doing, do you?

Also why is “war” in quotes? Dummy.

Edit: I’m not saying one thing is a better or worse use of taxpayer dollars; I’m just annoyed that 1,000 people could be so intellectually lazy.
