Country Shit - Big K.R.I.T.
One of my favorite reasons to come to work these days is so I can cross off the day, with a big blue X, on my Sights of the Capitol calendar. 23 days! That’s 21 days plus 2! That’s really not that many.
I am also signing a lease on a new apartment tonight, which I am really excited about. More so than my last place, I think. I get to paint! Should I go with Split Pea, or Slate Blue? Ozark Shadows? Pecos Spice?
I want to have a job naming paint colors. I suppose that would conflict with my New York Times job from earlier.

“To the Dogs or Whoever” - Josh Ritter
This song is one of the best songs ever to sing along really loudly to, but it has so many words in it. The only line I never miss is “Did I mention that I love you in your un-der-weaaaar!”
For anyone who LOVES “69 Love Songs” by: The Magnetic Fields!!! These are illustrated versions of the 69 songs. Could someone please forward this to Kevin Malone?
This is awesome!
Great Lake Swimmers - Your Rocky Spine
“I traced my finger along your trails
Your body was the map
I was lost in there
Floating over your rocky spine
The glaciers made you and now you’re mine”
This forever.
“Heartattack and Vine” by Tom Waits
’”Don’t you know there ain’t no devil,
That’s just God when he’s drunk.”
